I see BEX1064 is coming up for auction soon, what a lovely original car! If only I could win the lotto int he next few days...

See page 18 in the-catalog:

Will be very curious to see what it brings!

Re: BEX1064.

Just as you would like to personally find a Ace Bristol, Just 18,000 kms on the clock 2 owners and never been molested  or tampered with.
And what a story....   If you wrote a identical  script  People would say you had a vivid imagination and dismiss it as too far fetched.
With such a original Ace Bristol, I would recommission mechanically  and hopefully somehow stop more paint flaking off and use it as it is.
Unfortunately  It will probably go into a collection or museum and not be used............... :(
Must be one of the most original Ace Bristol's in the world.  :P
Hopefully who ever buys it shares it  with Petrol heads  world wide especially AC Ace Enthusiasts.

I agree Keith. If I had the wherewithal and could buy the car, I would keep it as-is and enjoy the heck out of driving it!

It's hardly broken in.
What a beauty.  Someone be sure to post follow ups so we know what happens to it.

Did you notice the cool page-turning feature in the catalog? Never seen it before.

Due to the government shutdown in France, the auction has been postponed,  no new date announced yet!

A rather well made film of the Artcurial Director reviewing the car and talking to the owner.
