Hi Constant, Jeurgen and Ursula,

The pleasure was all mine. It was wonderful to see so many people smiling and having fun. So far I have not seen any photos of the Disco Dancing. You were all Disco Divas, and then came those Dudes Heiner and Peter! Night Fever!

In my previous post, the chap in Thames Ditton was wearing a pair of Cobra skin cowboy boots. A bit extreme but suits ACs.

Here are some pics ...  (finally I found the right button [:)])

Guess what's wrong on this shield!?

Robin A Woolmer

A great shame that AC are only recognised for Cobra's on the site, they achieved a great deal more in the Vintage period & were a prime producer of engines & held important speed records!

Indeed, Robin. There was a proposal that a plaque should be commisioned for the Ferry Works site, and a factually correct one to replace the High Street works sign at 'AC Court'.
   A couple more photos:

   When Shep talks, everyone listens!

Just about legible, "AMAZING CARS" on the Ferry Works building:

As Andy said, this photo was only possible due to the wonderful lady over the river! We had negotiated a perilous route around the fence you can see in Constant(MkIV Lux)`s top picture, but the view 'up the wall' showed virtually nothing!
I hadn`t intended to go on the Thames Ditton Pilgrimage, but it was fascinating. Hopefully next time, more will come, and there will be better plaques to see!
   AC...Bloody Well Done, I think!

and some more pics....

look closely on the brickwall between the two rows of windows: "AC amazing cars" can still be seen...  better photo already posted by Nick, see above

this is where the show room was on High Street

   back yard behind old factory

I even have my own garage here.. did I work at AC in my earlier days ?

Octane mentions Heiner.... the bravest traveller...

When I shot these pics of him and Peter between Lille (F) and Mons (B)... they still had another 570 miles to go before reaching their home town. Brave chaps.
