Afternoon everybody.
I hope this post finds you all in good health.
I am trying to find a Lucas 104 rear view mirror for an Ace and do not want to go down the route of something modern. Mine has a split where one of the screws goes in and is beyond restoring.
Does anybody have one for sale please or can help with finding one.
Kind regards, Luke

Hope you all enjoy the photos.....

I have recently purchased some new Silent Travel door locks and need to locate a second locking latch ( which is not supplied with them ) as can be seen highlighted in the photos. We only had one on the old set. Incidentally the peening that secures the handle gave way on the new ones only a few seconds after installation leading to an annoyingly floppy handle so as you can see this has been secured with a bolt and washer. ( indicated by the arrow )
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks, Luke

Good afternoon to one and all. I hope this post finds everybody in good health.
We have finally got AEX 443 back on its wheels and I have a dolley that was purpose made to move an Ace  chassis / car around the workshop.
It moves very freely and is in perfectly usable order and ideal for somebody who has a restoration project on the go or in mind.
It is located at Bromyard in Herefordshire and would be for the buyer to collect. I would like £300 for it which is what it cost me to have made.
Many thanks , Luke

I hope this post finds everybody fit and well.
We are at the stage of fitting fuel and brake pipes to a Bristol engined Ace and wondered if anybody has diagrams / plans / photos of the setup.
Any information will be as ever greatly appreciated.

I hope everybody is well and keeping active in their garages.

I am looking for the castellated knob / nut that holds the spare wheel down in the boot and wondered if anybody has one or knows what other car they came from back in the day.
Any help much appreciated.

If anybody needs spare parts I have a complete air and fuel intake assembly for a 5.0 Ford fuel injected engine with various pulleys and a/c motors.
Please feel free to send me a PM or contact on luke@stonesetltd.com
All the parts are from an original 1987 AC Cobra MKiv.
Regards to all and stay safe.

Ace, Aceca & Greyhound Forum / Ace seat reupholstery
February 06, 2020, 21:27:58
Am currently reupholstering some Ace seats and wondered if anybody has photos of the rear and outer sides.
I believe both should be upholstered in the same carpet used throughout the car.
Any thoughts and help greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Luke

If anybody has any interest I have had some brake discs made from top grade iron and they are working out at £200 each.
I only have a limited supply but could get another batch made if there is sufficient demand.
Regards to all, Luke

I have noticed that my Ace has the holes in the top of the dash to throw heat onto the windscreen but it is missing the vents that deflect the heat.

Ace, Aceca & Greyhound Forum / Hand Brake Support
October 25, 2018, 12:32:34
Thanks for feedback regarding the seatbelt mountings which are now installed and look good and functional.
Whist the inner panel work is removed I am looking at ways to strengthen and support the hand brake and its box.
Has anyone experience or ideas on this.
Many thanks, Luke
