Spotted this 'Cobra' Project for sale,   Looks like it has an AC engine and might be of interest to somebody on here looking for spares or a complete motor..

I am still searching for some AC Action magazines from early 67 to around 75 if anyone has spare copies or editions they would like to sell or Loan for some research into my 67 289 sports...

Hi All

I know this is going to be a very long shot but does anyone have any ACtion Magazines from 67 through to 79-80  Ideally 74-78. My copies are from 1979 to 91

The reason i am asking is I am looking for any info i can find about my car COB6116 So if anyone has any editions they would be happy to sell or Lend to me i would be most grateful.

Dragging up this old thread again as i have found some photos of a COB car in AUS.

COB6114, according to the world registry was sold still unrestored in 1996 and showing a Flat bottom Dashboard..

Any road-going car is eligible as long as it remains unmodified from date of registration...

I would love to do the ACOC sprint in my Ariel Atom 3 300 but i do not have a race suit or a sprint licence,  I do a few track days every year so have track exp.

My car was also Originally Pacific Green before it was painted Red in the 70's
   
   Here is the only picture I have been able to find. This is COB6103 one only 3 Pacific Green 289 sports made.

Unfortunately I could not make It this year as it clashed with the UK Paramotor championships.  I got home on the Friday after a LONG comp...  My car is also having a Heart transplant at the moment otherwise I would have brought her up...

Nik i've seen the photos, Looked like a very impressive turn out for the 289R and 6107 turned up again were there any other Originals there?
