The email from the chief scrutineer states, and I quote :
   
   "A head restraint is mandatory - see S 10.1.13 on page 343 of the Blue Book" most CRS's don't. Mine does not.
   
   "The roll bar should be 5cm above the top of your helmet" the CRS does not without modification or driven by a dwarf.

Based on my own experience and a run in with the scrutineers at Shelsley I no longer enter the car in MSA events as the seats  and roll hoops would need changing, sad as it was great fun and I think people liked seeing the car.

Spinners were from Hawk, I chose stainless steel for strength.

After 2 years of putting up with indifferent handling and having your teeth shaken out, I decided to try the 15" wheel modifiaction that has been the subject to many previous posts.
   
   The results look like :
   
   
   
   Other work carried out included
   front and rear anti roll bars
   new suspension shock tower strut brace
   
   Appears to be much improved,all that is needed now is some dry weather.............
