   I have 1061. Do you have records of that? Sold in CA I think.

Easily fixed, my car's registration plate in California when new was "REAL AC", repeated in Oregon when the car moved there. That was for AK1061

As AFN289 says, all the above points to Mk1V's being good buys.
   As a long term owner of both 60's Mk11 289 and my Mk1V (AK1061) says, Mk11 has lighter feel and better when racing, Mk1V better as a road car.

   As it happens I also have the black car mentioned in the Motor Trend article so I am especially pleased.
   There was also several articles in Sports Car International (USA magazine) - I am particularly interested in the Dec 1990 one on a 427 Mk 1V if you have ever come across it.
