Thanks to all the organisers for a great event at a first class venue. The venue was far superior to the Hilton! Let's hope for the same venue next year so we can have the date as soon as possible for the diary.

Westcott,

Thank you, unfortunately Rimmer Brothers no longer any in stock.
I found the indicator, horn, main beam stalk & the side light & headlamp switch available at Auto Electrical Spares
   http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lucas-SQB113-35423-163SA-indicator-column-switch-ROVER-SD1-/301098048046?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item461ad79a2e
I have at least identified that it is not the wash/wipe unit causing my issues. So now ready to have new plugs to be attached by Thunder Road Speed Shop.
Many thanks to all others who have offered assistance.

My 427 Mk IV arrived from the USA with a 2" wooden block attacked to the clutch pedal which does have a long travel to engage. I assumed the previous owner must have been small in the leg department. On further investigation he had also added a stop on the gas peddle. I came to the conclusion either he was not very tall or he couldn't handle the power.

BMTR Birmingham have just received their latest new size Avon CR6ZZ 225/60 15 diameter is 25" rather than the Avon CR6ZZ 225/65 15 diameter is 26.65" which should reduce potential fouling of the GRP front inner wheel arch liner under extremes. The larger rear tyres 275/55 15" diameter is 26.9".

Prices are on the BMTR website http://www.bmtr.co.uk then click on Motorsport. Next day delivery for 4 tyres is £20 + VAT. If you phone them ask for the Motorsport department and ask for David or Peter. They are very helpful.

See previous my previous topic
New size Avon CR6ZZ 225/60 15 for fronts

This new size Avon should not rub the front GRP inner liners and has a slightly smaller overall diameter. They are available from BMTR Birmingham who will ship to you or your local tyre fitter at better prices than anywhere else. SB7019 - Peter these might just keep the nose down on your Superblower!

I have an extra spare set of 15" lightweight Autokraft Halibrand style wheels which came with my car. I might consider parting with them for a price!

Barrie,

Are you referring to road use or have you used these for hillclimbs or sprints?

Does anyone have experience of the Avon CR6ZZ which are available in various 15" size from BMTR Birmingham? There are generally a soft compound in the larger widths but they do a slightly harder compound in the narrow widths.

I use the softer compound on my Mk IV Cobra which perform superbly on the road as well as for hill climbs & sprints.

Did anyone know the price reached at the auction?

Nik,

AKL1369 Madejski car (excluding reg B1BYE) is the Lightweight I was referring to sold by Coys for £60,000 after the auction when it failed to reach lowest estimate or reserve.

Does anyone know if it has ever had any accident damage[?]
Price doesn't seem unrealistic Madejskis which I think was lower mileage only made about £60,000 and assuming auction house commission is the usual 12% including VAT.
