I thought the above car interesting. In particular the alloy head, does an alloy head confer many benefits?  Who made the heads and if only three, were they not very successful?

There appears to be a vintage AC at about 29:20 in this video, although the wheels and body do look rather odd!

Regarding the photo, David Hescroff tells me " the photo shows PK6322 - the Montlhery record car with its 4 seat body put on to enter the Brooklands Double Twelve Race in 1930. It is a very interesting shot (I have a copy of it) because the other car is Ray Morley in PH8013 with the Montlhery record car's original body which Ray bought from Mollart. "
David reckons that 5 cars may have been built with that body style.

Is this the same "Montlhery" that was used in the record run?  AC did rebody the car (the body being subsequently acquired by Ray Morley), do we know how many "Montlhery" style bodied cars were made?

I notice that in the recently publicised Palman collection in Holland is an AC Aceca, registered 282EOH. It looks to have lain untouched for many years.

Sadly the Bentley site (which I think is great) is no longer being updated as the "owner" of the site decided to retire. Hopefully what is there will remain for a while, but sadly will then be lost.

I don't know where paho is based, it would be interesting to know where and why the suggested site could be threatening.
