Jurgen, the car has 4 Weber carburettors and no G-Kat.
It was sold new in Germany, and has got 4 subsequent German owners.
There are TüV papers and Dekra papers, but it seems to be difficult to get the green sticker.

Thanks for all the input. In the end we decided to go for the linkage.

General Forum / 1966 Registration??
July 28, 2011, 22:54:33
We bought this car from Brooklands Motor Company, and it is indeed a 1966 AC Cobra 427. This car even has FIA papers, and is the last car
built at the Frimley factory. It is a proper AC, and it has a correct british V5. It is not registered in Belgium and it never was
   before.
If you have any questions about COX3361, please email me or Steve Gray, so you get correct information about this fantastic machine.
We are real AC enthousiasts, and beside the MkIVs we sold or have in stock, we are really proud to have this 427 in our showroom as well.

One of our customers wants to register his MkIV (AK1240) in Germany, and needs a so called "Grüne Umweltplakke". This is a sticker that allows cars to come in the city centre low emission zone.
Are there any German MkIV owners around here who can tell us how to
obtain this for a 1989 registered Cobra MkIV please ?
   Any help is much appreciated.

The MkIV of one of my friends had a melted throttle cable surrounding, which causes a sticky throttle cable at 4500 rpm.
   Very dangerous.
I want to replace the complete cable now, but can anyone tell me
if there are safer ( I mean with non-melting materials) cables available please ?

   Thanks,

   Koen.
