Hi Graham. Yes, I did go for vintage FIA wheels but still needed a 10mm spacer.

Hi. Just thought I'd send an update. I ended up with the FIA style fronts and the Trigo rears. Exactly the look I was going for - with 10mm spacers up front. Nothing else required.
AC Heritage have been amazing.

Thank you!

It's been interesting to say the least. AC Heritage, AP Racing, Image Wheels, Redline, Trigo have all been incredibly helpful, particularly AC Heritage. Redline sourced some front FIAs for me (will need spacers I believe). Still looking for rear 15" Halibrand Wineglass in 9.5J/10J with the reduced backspacing for the Mk IV.
I've been so impressed with the Cobra community so thank you.

Hi Graham

Actually, this is proving more difficult than I thought, given I cannot find out the specs of the brakes. Trigo do not work on them. The brakes are too big. Vintage Wheels may have the same issue.

Do you know which CP reference number were applicable to the AP Racing 4 pot brakes?

Image Wheels near Birmingham have said they are willing to custom make a set of wheels for me if I can locate the specs of the brakes.

Thanks!

Hi All.

I'm new here so please would you excuse if my questions have been asked previously.

I am seeking to change the 16" wheels on my CRS to 15".

I am looking at 8" fronts and 9.5" rears (using Vintage Wheels fronts and Trigo rears).

I have a couple of questions if you don't mind:
Q1: Are there any issues with rubbing on these sizes in respect of mechanics - eg tie rods?
Q2: I want the tyres to fill the arches to give the proper balloon tyre look. Do 65mm sidewall height tyres fit without issue/rubbing on the arches?

Thanks so much for your help and for your insights!
