Front lights are Karman Ghia type 34, very rare,couldnt find any in the UK, (doesnt mean there arent any) rear lights are Alfa Romeo 1969 ish saloon. could give you more information next week, email me if you require info. Having screens made by Euroglass, heated rear as well. still to source seals etc, ongoing project. Hawk cars (Gerry) great source of info.

Cliff, thanks be very interested in the front lamps, you have my number give me a call.
   The overiders are very similar to Ford Capri MK2.
   Any thoughts on the number plate lamps

Correct me if iam wrong, but surely the rear bumper is at the wrong angle,

   It does save hours and hours of work. The e coat is supposed to penetrate all the areas that the acid does, will let you know what happens

   Thanks for the reply, it is the front panel where the Grille is, extending to the bonnet between the front wings, will post a picture if you can tell me how to  post them. Much better with cars than I am with computers

   Emmanuel. the box members are full of  corrosion holes so most of them are being replaced, The ones that are not have  new holes drilled in them to allow the eventual application of the e coat, and fitted with rubber bungs to seal them off, standard corrosion protection technique. The chasis tubes had quite a lot of water in them before dipping any way.
   If you go to www.surfaceprocessing.co.uk you will get a better idea of the process.Only problem being that obviously it has to be  a bare shell. Saves hours and hours of work and messy chemicals.
   Can anyone supply dimensions for the front panel as it is so badly bent that the existing dimensions are not easily defined. If any one could let us have access to another car to measure and photograph would be most grateful. Can you tell me how to post pictures? running xp

   interesting car came in from the USA , a bit punch drunk, hit in the front wing boot and front end

Have a look on ebay, AC 428 stainless bumpers available, 2 sets.
   Harringto Group in Bath, around £950, including postage.
   Too late for me, already repaired the old ones at vast expense.
   Any idea where to obtain front 1/4 light seals?.

Does any one have an ashtray for the Frua 428. The existing 1 in CFX 30 is pretty  much beyond repair. I hadnt realised it was such a work of art until it came to restoring it.
   Rimmer brothers no longer have stock of front grilles. Any other suggestions of supplier would be appreciated. Most second hand grilles are worse than the ones we removed.

   Does any other 428 have overiders(rear) or a similar number plate lamp. [?]
   Anybody got front indicator lamps for the 428, as far as I can tell they were fitted to the Karmann Ghia type 34 razor edge.
   Rear lamps definitley Alfa Romeo.
