Hi Malcolm

Curious if you did anything in the rebuild about Air Charge Temperature? Ive also had a rebuild after a piston cracked at the Goodwood Sprint a few years ago, and did not increase the capacity but did many of the other mods you would expect including a new Syvecs ECU. The tuner noted very high intake temps and suggested an intercooler or possibly water/methanol injection which would be much easier to fit given the engine layout. The gain is estimated at about 50hp if I can reduce the temps apparently.

I'd be happy to help with arrangements if there was sufficient interest. While I think the Santa Pod is a fun idea and I would have done it, sadly the date clashes and I cant attend. I don't think its a patch on a proper driving day on a track personally, and would gladly forgo the trophies for the experience of being there with similar cars owned by respectful drivers. Would expect we need a poll or something to record interest and dates etc, but I agree lets start here and see how many might be keen for a track day?

Does anyone have any info on how this event is shaping up? Looking forward to it!

Can't wait. Fingers crossed for dry weather on my first outing! Hope to meet many of you there.
