Yes. It's a threshold plate from a 2Litre saloon.

Hi Garry. Yes I am still interested. Not sure what's going on with the E-mail thing. I'll give you £25 towards your fund. How do I get it to you? My address is Mr A Waites  13, Manor Park South, Knutsford, Cheshire. WA16 8AD.  Many thanks  Tony.

Hello Gary. I'd be interested in one of the "Rad to thermostat" elbows. Mine has part of the casting broken but is just about servisable. The one slightly angled seems to be the one. Let me know what you want for it.
Regards Tony.

Hello Gary.
The paint work has stood up pretty well during the last 10 yrs. A couple of self inflicted garage wounds oops !!. How's your car progressing?

Hello Colin.
I restored my 2Litre about ten years ago it to was going to be grey. I wanted as close to original as possible. The factory records quoted "Slate Grey". This was a "Jewlessence" colour produced both pre and post war. The closest I could get was Jaguar "Gunmetal opalescent". I've posted a picture of the result.
Regards Tony.

Yes Garry.  That is a nice looking saloon at a decent price too. There's another on "Car and classic" up for auction and a Buckland as well, the Buckland looks very nice.  Tony

Good evening Gary. That MBD reg is Northampton June 1955. Still quite a late one. Where did you find it and what's needed to do on it. Look forward to hearing more. Tony.

Well done Gary you can never have too many!!. That's a late one, the registration issued in Stockport July 1957. Would be interesting to know the first owner. Tony.

Hi Gary. Brian Eacott is worth a try too. He supplied a kingpin set for me sometime ago for mine.  Tony.

Good luck Gary. I hope all goes well. The car is much better with it's original engine. Look forward to seeing the results.  Tony.
