I bet the key gets hot. Is your distributor loose? Maybe the timing is retarded, excuse me, handicapped.

According to the registry, this might be the first or second car to carry an AKL serial number, having been produced in Oct. 1989. It obviously has all of the lightweight features, so does that make this car the first AKL lightweight? I guess a complete list of the "26" lightweights does not exist, or if it does, I can't find it. So, who counted ? Just curious.

Hi. Sort of my first post here although I have lurked for years. Lots of great info. Thanks!
I have a MkIV that I am considering selling. I've had it about 25 years. I know I will miss it if I sell it but sometimes we need to let go. I've contemplated an asking price, but feel an auction would be fair to all. I don't know how to determine a value any other way. I've considered Bringatrailer.com unless there might be a better option. eBay seems like it would be a waste of time. It has a 427 side Oiler with aluminum Thunderbolt heads. About 10,000 Miles. Perhaps we could discuss what the reserve could be set at. That would be helpful. Thanks.
