As the Eastern Counties Motor Club historian I would be interested to learn more about a Mr. L.J.A. Brown of Ipswich and his 1951 AC 2 litre Sports Saloon registered APV 668 in which he entered the 1953 ECMC Felixstowe Rally, for this event his navigator was Dr. R.I. Hyder. There is a photograph of Brown taking part in the driving tests that followed the event on p83 of Leo Archibald's book of that particular model. Is it known if Brown or APV 668 took part in any competitive events? Also does anyone know what happened to the car itself? Any information will be welcomed.
