Further to my earlier posting re Donnington , can anyone supply me with the club logo in digital format ( Tiff , PDF , Illustrator ,Photoshop etc ) so that I can print a reasonable size title to put on the car/stand

ACOC News and Events / Donington Historic Festival 28/4 - 30/04 '17

Dear All .
I shall be attending this event on Saturday and Sunday and will be the ACOC presence on the infield club area. We are designated club stand No 1 which is to be found at the very left hand end of the club display parking area if you were looking out from the pits across the circuit on the Wheatcroft Straight. I will be in a blue Ace with a hardtop.
Although I am not aware of others booking on the club pre booking offer there are lots of reasons to get out and about to Donnington this coming weekend :
The forecast is OK
Get that car on the road earlier rather than later - you know it makes sense.
There is a really good selection of racing . For me the best events are early and late so I will have to get there early anyway
I will have my new camping single ring stove at the ready to serve tea , coffee , cake - the sky's the limit on a single ring stove
A chance to talk about AC's without your non car mad friend's eyes rolling upwards
Even if your classic or modern is not quite ready for the road I understand there will be trade stands there who might just have that elusive part you need
Finally , I recently had a long discussion with the technical director of a specialist oil company and he had shed some light on many aspects of the world of motor oil and what is appropriate for our cars. It is all a bit less of a mystery now so I will try to pass on the imparted knowledge to anyone with an interest
So I hope to see a few members or indeed anyone interested in ACs who comes to chat over the weekend. I will not be at the allotted parking stand all of the time but will try to be there generally 11.45 - 2.30 . If you drop by and I am not around why not leave me a message with a note on the screen or call me on 07775 533411.
