Thanks it will be interested to see what it may sell for. Is the history known?
I am hoping to be able to get around to working on my Aceca again in the next few months .Not touched for nearly 10 years now. I bought it with a Jaguar motor wedged in too, but had a Mays head 2.6 engine built in around 2009, not fitted as yet. Would anyone have drawings available to make engine mount to chassis brackets?

Lew ,a few years ago there was an Aceca MPH speedo for sale here in Aus.i spoke to the seller ,to see if he had any other Aceca parts, he told me he had seen AEX 566 in Darwin some years before so i guess that speedo may have been from your car. Will try to track it down if I can.

have kicked myself for years for not buying AE 547 in Perth ,i think it was 1975 and at that time it had a ford or holden 6 with 3 SU's and apart from the engine was in good original condition, and priced around $1800 but what might interest you most is that i'm sure the seller said it had come from South Africa to Perth.
Oh and at that time  it drove with no unpleasant noises. The colour was almost an orange red.

hi , for AE 530i have a fully rebuilt 2.6 to very high standard with Mays head and manifold for twin SUs and partially made manifold for triple Webers.New lightweight pistons and valves, custom made alloy rocker and side covers.lightweight clutch and flywheel, cam profiled by ex Zephyr racer,190BHP and smooth idle promised on Webers.Custom alloy Bellhousing for 5 speed alloy (what we call Supra box)Huge dollars spent
Engine is all together and still wrapped in plastic cover from builder.
Half way through received an email from  original owner who told me  Ken Rudd had fitted a new Bristol engine for him early in 1956 to replace AC engine, so probably should be fitting a Bristol.is your Bristol engine in top condition and can we discuss possible trade?

Great idea Alan, being in a fairly remote part of Australia, that is what I hoped to find on the forum.I could give some info on manufacture of some parts relating to the Mays head Zephyr 2.6 engine I am having built for my  Aceca.
Also of great help would be a section where people can share share their knowlege on parts interchange from other makes and models  ie;Aceca door handles are Rover

there is a company in Australia that will make windscreens for any car.my maserati mistral has one that was fitted by a previous owner in Victoria-will post the info when i get it if you like. would be interesting to get the basic dimensions ofthe 428 to see if it is the same.
Did you find your 428 in Australia ? i was looking for one as a mate to my Aceca but ended up buying the Maser with a 289 Ford in it, so it is very similar to the   428
