I believe that it was indeed a works car and was driven in a few competitive events prior to getting the IFS. It was owned by Derek Hurlock up to 1986 or '87 and I saw it alive and well in 1987. Chassis no.EL1434. Last saw it up for sale in 1988.

Has the Brooklands Motor Company also acquired any of the old AC factory archives? Someone told me that archives had been thrown away, so it would be a relief if they still exist!
