I recently mount an EFI ignition box to the vertical mounting plate forward of the engine on the inboard side of the front suspension. The box is nearly invisible. I will send you a photo if needed.

The previous owner of AKL 1472 reply by email to me stating the car dealership received $120,000.00 for his MKIV..[:)]

I would say it is carb engine considering the model year. My MKIV also is a 1986 and was carb when I received it. Looks very original including the front bumperettes, the twin exhaust on one side only in 1986 and the engine bay. I contacted the dealer and emailed him a source for the courtesy light lens missing between the seats to make the car complete. I like the blacked out fender guards on this car. Very attractive with the green paint.

He ask me if the price is reasonable. I told him we want every MKIV to sell for as much as possible. Think big!

The dealer told me the selling price was over $100,000.00 but would not give me an exact number. I have not heard from the previous owner.

On the Hagerty Insurance website they show an average value of $83,775 for a 1985 MKIV.

I emailed the owner of the MKIV that reportedly just sold and ask for the purchase price.

Dear Silty,

Thank you for your reply. I greatly admire how eloquent you brits are with the language. As with the difference between our Lightweights and your Lightweights, so is our language. [;)]

Silty, Does your MKIV have an "L"? If it did I bet you would call it a "lightweight".

AKL1472 not 1474. I apologize.

Hold on, done run out and buy this sender. Too small for my old 1986 MKIV. I was told it may fit the newer models. Got another in its way. Lucas no less. As soon as it is installed, I will post the info. PS: I found it on an old MKIV thread.

Thank you for your help. For everyones behalf, I am pretty sure it is Fan switch, radiator, SPI (GVS104) and Clip, radiator fan switch, SPI (KTP9002)  [8D]

OK, The guy's name is F.Edward Lucas II not David. I contacted him on Facebook gave him a jab and suggested he go to the AC Owners Forum for some enlightenment.

Here we are at the podium receiving our insults. Please note the MC reading the original window sticker just before he tell the audience my MKIV is a replica. I think his first name is David. If anyone konws his last name I would appreciate it. He know all there is about a Duesenberg but nothing about an Autokraft. Maybe I can broaden his knowledge.
