Actually this confirm that administration and common sense are living in two different worlds (or universes, perhaps).
So far I remember, Rob has purchased a Mk II, but newly produced. Anyway the MkVI is also newly produced and will most probably follow the same harduous homologation path, but on German cobbled TÜV regulations.

Assuming it ever gets delivered. [;)]

Sorry to hear you're having so much trouble. Has AC Heritage been able to help?

They'd do better to advertise it as a new car rather than a second hand one though.

Looks as if they're still advertising the car:

Recent ACs / 378 GT Zagato on sale in the USA
September 03, 2013, 20:21:12
There's another 378 on sale in South Africa:

Hi Tech appear to have produced a small batch of Peranas, some of which have been badged as AC 378s, which have appeared on sale in the US and South Africa.  However it would appear that Hi Tech for some reason have not put the car into production.

Just got a notice yesterday they are mid in producing the car. So the answer is no, I did not receive any firm delivery date yet.
I am quite puzzled that a distributor gets cars for display in showroom but not early private customers who have firm orders.
I am getting used to it; I ordered a Gibson guitar and this is the same procedure, delivery date get postponed when it is supposed to be delivered. Custom made is not for people in a hurry!

Business is business and this is not my business! In French we say: "les voies du Seigneur sont impénétrables" and in Italian... I prefer not to say it.

   Any further progress?
