Details are in the PVT Register, posted on the members' area of the website.  Details are also in Rinsey Mills' book "AC Six Cylinder Sports Cars in Detail".

If you haven't joined the ACOC it's worth doing so - our Greyhound registrar is very knowledgeable.  Congratulations on your purchase and good luck for the repatriation of the car.

Apologies - my memory was faulty.  The limit was quoted at 100 dB and the info is in the Feb 2018 ACtion and later issues.  Regardles of that, there was so little support that it did not take place.

The limit at Goodwood for 'Goodwood Days' is 105 dB at 2/3 max RPM.  My 3000ME usually records about 99dB and it's not a particularly load car.  A track day at Castle Combe was proposed a couple of years ago but the limit is 95dB which ruled out a lot of the potential participants.  95 dB is quite a common limit at circuits on non-race days.

Hammer price was £36000.

Congratulations!  When the restoration of L593 was completed it was reputed to be as right as it could be.  You could contact the ACOC PVT registrar for his opinion - details are in ACtion.

The originals were made by Fattorini who are still in business and may still have  the dies.  As the trademark is owned by AC, reproductions can only be commissioned by them - perhaps you could persuade AC Heritage to have a batch made?
