In amongst dozens of cars including an Alvis, Porsches, MG's and many more, I spotted this Buckland, last change of keeper 2011!

I hope some of these can be saved!  :(

Horrible to see this pop up on Facebook earlier, I hope that the driver/passenger are okay and that repairs can be started ASAP!

Over on that Facebooky thing, this photo of a brass plate was posted, and I wonder if anyone can identify it's origin please?
Marked " Coachwork by AC Cars Ltd. Surrey, Eng... " It has clearly been chopped off for some repurposing, but I'm assuming it may have been a footplate or similar?

Looking forward to a flurry of photos showing how it should have looked, where, and on which vehicle it would be found!
Ta!

Bryan Stone in Bloomington, Illinois, has just acquired a partially assembled car, and asked on Facebookif anyone could identify 'which kit' it is. It had been in storage for 10-20 years before he purchased it. He has yet to find a chassis plate,
but I believe it to be a CRS, Some think MkV.
My big question is, was this car stripped, or is this as far as it was assembled?
Any help appreciated!

Calling all experts!
I've received this photo from Tim Isles, who was told that the sleek 2-seater sports is an AC, but, neither he, nor John Spencer, are convinced...
   Unless...

...Do You recognise it? Is it a modified AC 'Special'?

   HELP! [:)]

We are delighted to report that ACOC Ace Registrar Tim Isles' 1956 AC Ace-Bristol has been short listed by Sir Stirling Moss as one of 30 cars competing for one of the three prestigious daily "Best in Show" awards organised by top UK Insurance Broker Stewart Miller & Peter James at the Goodwood Revival Meeting on 9th, 10th and 11th September.
Ten cars will be displayed on each of the three  days located 'Over the Road' at the Stewart Miller & Peter James Insurance Stand(No.369), and all visitors will be very welcome to view them.
Tim's Ace is an ex-Venezuela racing car that was modified in 1956 to compete in the thriving motor sport scene in the country at that time.  Tim found it derelict in Caracas in 2010 and after rebuilding it, was delighted to be invited to take partin the Fordwater Trophy at the 2013 Goodwood Revival.
The AC Ace makes for a great road car on sunny days reports Tim and always draws interest from enthusiasts.
The "Best in Show" winner each day will be presented with a magnum of Veuve Clicquot Champagne, a Goodwood Hamper, a £100 insurance voucher from Stewart Miller & Peter James Insurance and, of course, Goodwood Revival 2017 tickets.
TIM NEEDS YOUR VOTE!: you can vote online now by clicking HERE or on the Stewart Miller & Peter James Insurance Stand 'Over the Road' at Revival.
Let's hear it for the AC Ace-Bristol!
