Ace 'Brooklands' Forum / Back on the road
August 18, 2019, 11:51:51
Its been a slightly disappointing six months.

Hopefully all sorted now.

New rear shocks and springs
Bespoke radiator fitted.
New alarm and immobiliser
Electrical fault caused by a loose earth wire..........days of my life I will never get back  :)

All part of the fun though.

Ace 'Brooklands' Forum / Spot the difference
August 26, 2017, 16:02:50
I decided that as I was stuck with the aluminium dash a few improvements might make a difference.

All ended up a bit pricey, but I think it worked.

The rear door pillar I had to recover and managed to get an off cut of black leather which mean't that any further marks wouldn't show.

Filling the hole for the hardtop was a bit baffling, and then a eureka moment. Why not a sink/basin blanking plug.

Thank you to Paho for pointing me in the right direction for the steering wheel.

Can any one please point me in the right direction as to my cars paint code and manufaturer.

In the handbook someone has written JAG  11DN (611)

I have called various main dealers, paint suppliers and companies who will mix paint up but they don't recognise the code.

I have also trawled through dozens of website and colour charts but nothing is working.

   I know its metallic green

I know if I take the car i can get a spectrometer test done or send them the wing mirror.

Hopefully the owners with the same colour might be able to help.

Anyone got a clue what the wiper motor is?

From what little remains of the code it seems to be Citroen but I can't track down any with the 37 middle number

   The code seems to be 535 37 4(?) ? 2
