Dear Zephyr 6 engine owners,
who can tell me which motor oel do you use? I found in an old manual for this engine the specification SAE 20 or 20W. But I would like to use a modern oel.

Does anyone use a 15W40 or a 20w50? Any experiences you can share?

I guess someone has a Ford Zephyr 6 engine together with a Volvo Amazon M40 ir M41 gearbox. Since I have also this in may garage I have two questions about this connection:
1) do you use the Volvo bellhouse with an adapter plate between engine and gearbox or do you use the Zephyr bellhouse with an adapter plate between bellhouse and gearbox?2) do you use the standard input shaft of the gearbox or must it be extended?
Any help will be appreciated

Well, I guess in most cases the e-mail didn't receive the drawee. The standard in this forum is, that personal e-mails are not forwarded to your private e-mail address. If you want to change this you have to switch to "Account Setting" under the "Profile" menu and you have to add your e-mail address AND you have to set the flag at "Allow users to email me".

I am looking for pictures showing the exhaust manifold of a Ace/Aceca 2.6 with stage 1 or 2, i.e. with the orginal head but modified in- and outlet manifold. Has anybody such pictures?
