Not exactly an Ace topic but a very close connection and one which members may be able to help with.
Would any one know the whereabouts of any period pictures of the Aston Martin DB4 bought new from Brooklands, Bond Street, London by Ken Rudd in February 1962. I have found pictures of an earlier DB4 he bought in 1958 but not the later purchase which coincides with Ace 2.6 production.
The car is DB4/844/R, Dubonnet Red, registration 3500 MW
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to source a pair of the rubber seals that fit between the rear lights (Hillman Minx type) and the bodywork. Does anyone have any spare or know of a source without buying complete lamps? Any help would be greatly appreciated

ACOC News and Events / Barry Dodd
May 31, 2018, 20:18:44
It is with much sadness I report the passing of ACOC member Barry Dodd CBE in a helicopter accident in North Yorkshire yesterday. He was one of the worlds nicest people and will be greatly missed by many. Condolences to his wife Frances and family.

Wanted for CS2030 - off side rear brake caliper. Girling 12/3HP. Any assistance in locating a good original unit would be greatly appreciated. I believe that 3000ME uses the same unit.

I am trying to source or construct a correct capillary type water temperature gauge for my 1962 260 Cobra. The model number of the item originally fitted was TG1501/20 and had a temperature range of 30-100 degrees.
The script on the face of a donor unit isn't important as this can be replaced. The important element is the temperature range, units with a max temp range up to 110 and 140 are readily available both new and second-hand but 100 seems to be hard to find.
I would greatly appreciate any help in finding a suitable donor - working or not.
A picture of the original dashboard and gauge can be found in the earlier post entitled CS2030
