Cobra (Thames Ditton) Forum / Cobra in the bedroom
September 04, 2015, 21:18:48
In this article about a 4.5ltr Bentley.  The son of the late owner of the Bentley refers to his dad also having had a dismantled Cobra in his bedroom!  In view of the Bentley, it is not so unlikely!

It was lovely to see so many, well 5, vintage AC's including the Montlhery bodied car of David Hescroff being driven by the grandson of Mrs Bruce, a 12/40 sports, and others who's precise designation I'm not sure of.
I do hope that these great cars will now be seen more often.

Vintage, PVT & 2 Litre Forum / Montlhéry 6

Great photo of Bruce at Montlhéry on the Facebook thread, thank you.
Other than the car used by the Bruce's at Montlhéry, were any more built to that design of body or was it unique?

Would anyone happen to know of a good vintage AC for sale?  I would have been very keen on the ex David Barker car that sold a few months ago, but the timeing was not right for me.

I thought this looked like a nice car at reasonable money (compared with a comp sports) http://www.bonhams.com/auctions/18220/lot/525/?page_anchor=MR1_page_lots%3D4%26r1%3D90%26m1%3D1%26b1%3Dresults

Vintage, PVT & 2 Litre Forum / front wheel brakes
August 28, 2012, 10:49:15
Could someone advise me as to when front wheel brakes were adopted on the vintage AC?  Was there any modification to the location of the front axle to cope with them?

Vintage, PVT & 2 Litre Forum / FD 2368
August 12, 2012, 17:56:04
I noticed on the VSCC forum that a member has an early photo of an AC reg. no. FD 2368, and would be happy to pass it on to the current owner (if it still exists),  if anyone knows of its existence and cannot access the VSCC forum, I would be pleased to help.

I notice that at

there is to be a 16/90 on display.  How pleasing!
