Ace, Aceca & Greyhound Forum / Aceca Jack Storage
February 12, 2008, 23:55:32
Where was the jack and handle kept on Acecas? Did it just reside under the spare wheel cover next to the spare? Were there any clips that held it in place like the Ace? Anyone have a picture they can send me that shows it stowed? ALso, does anyone have a picture of the correct jack for tha Aces/Acecas? Is it the one pictured in the boot of the red car on page 36 and 45 of the Rinsey Mills book (Original AC Ace and Cobra)?

   Thanks in advance.

BEX404 will be coming up for sale at the Barrett-Jackson auction on Saturday 19 Jan. 2008. It is listed as lot #1289, and should be one of the cars shown on TV during the live brodcast. Just recently restored, will be interesting to see if this continues the upward trend of ACs passing the $250K US mark. Pictures are at:

Does anyone make reproduction tool boards that fit on the spare wheel and hold the tools for Acecas? Or does anyone have a pattern diagram for making one? Thanks in advance.

Ace, Aceca & Greyhound Forum / BEX426 For Sale

Fantasy Junction in California has listed BEX426, ex-Sebring car for sale on their web site?

Seems to have a mix of the engine/head from BEX387 and BEX311. Asking price $218,500 for a project car! Makes the $142,500 price paid for the Kruse car BEX339 seem like a bargain - and I thought it was overpriced by a factor of 2!

Does anyone know where I can get a set of the demister vents that mount on top of the dash for a '56 Ace? Were they common to some other makes or models?
