I'm on a search for an original Speedometer Cable for a Post war 2 litre car.
I'm looking for the original steel armoured type which I believe had brass
fixtures at the ends.
If anybody has one for sale or would know about anybody that might have
one for sale I would be most grateful to know.

Good morning all,
A friend needs a speedometer cable for his 16/80.
Are these a standard length? I was only given the speedometer side of the broken cable and the rest is apparently still on the gearbox.

Speedograph Richfield Nottingham should be able to supply a replacement cable but as it is a PVT they do not stock them, they do stock post war AC car types, you will need to send the old one so they know the type & terminations required.

Thank you Robin. They rebuilt the tacho of my Ace a few years ago. Very pleased with their work.
I will check with my friend if he can give me the rest of the cable.
