Dear All,
I'm looking for for original looking fuel lines for
my 1954 Ace.
In a Bonhams auction last year a Bristol engined car
looks like it has "newly" made fuel lines, that look
just like the original type.

Does anybody know if there is somebody that can supply
this?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Regards
Jonas

Jonas,
I had a pair made up by Gower and Lee to join 1 & 2 and 2 & 3 carburetters on AE22. The invoice describes them as '5/16" braided fuel hose with crimped nut ends' and they were £16.50 each. Near identical to the original Smiths part and of course, being S.U. specialists, they can supply the correct end fittings if you do not have them. Eventually, when I have enough installed to do some measuring, I shall get them to make up the other lengths required in the fuel system. I see they have changed their web address- http://www.gowerlee.dircon.co.uk/
Barrie,
Thank you so much for the help and info. I will definitely contact Gower and Lee tomorrow.
I have also contacted vintage car parts today so it feels very exiting!
