Hi all,
My "new" AC Aceca BE811 (AKA the AC Aceca Bristol/Shelby Daytona ((Chicken)) Coupe) arrived in NZ on a ship from the US last week so I expect that we will collect it at some stage this week. I am starting to get details of parts that are available from throughout the world to get this car back to a driving chassis stage, there are also some stories of Aceca and Ace bodies being used as garage art in the US - still some further work to do on tracking these down...
What I am very keen on is whether there is a list out there that gives details of chassis/running/steering/brake/gauges etc and other parts for an Ace/Aceca that are common with other cars.
We are lucky in NZ that many of our Vintage Car Clubs have sheds full of parts and parts such as Austin Healey trafficator assemblies can be purchased very economically. Any details greatly appreciated of what is common with other cars - please email glen@wbb.co.nz Many thanks in advance for any information that is out there.

Not a lot of response I'm afraid. I don't think there is a comprehensive list such as you request. However most of the knowledge is out there and I believe you will get a better response with more specific requests. For example 'Is there a source for Aceca door handles ?' I do appreciate that you will soon have a big list of parts you are searching for, but tackling them one at a time probably assists in avoiding a nervous breakdown....

I just e-mailed you a PDF of a 1965 ACOC Ace/Aceca parts interchange list (I also tried attaching it here but dk how a PDF will translate on the Forum). It's by no means complete but it may be of some help.
