Title: Why does this Cobra replica claim to be EH2068...?
Post by: SunDude on January 30, 2026, 14:57:44
This Cobra replica is currently for sale through Zero Automotive Ltd. (Harrogate UK) at an asking price of £129,000. This car is described as a tool-room copy powered by a Ford 302 V8 mated to a T-10 4-speed manual transmission. It was built from 2018 to 2023 as an homage to the first RHD Cobra (CS 2030), and uses a period-correct 3" round-tube, leaf-spring chassis and an aluminum body supplied by AC Heritage.

This Cobra replica wears chassis serial number EH2068 which belongs to a 1954 AC 2-Litre four-door saloon. However, since it uses a brand-new chassis from AC Heritage, what tie could it really have to EH2068...? What happened to the real EH2068...?
