Has a DRY SUMP Holman Moody 427 with LeMans Crank and Rods

Raced in Europe in '66,

Ed Fruetel and Tony Settember

Tony's grandson came up with loads of period unseen before photos (low res teaser)

Trevor Legate gave us some nice photos as well. (again low res teaser)

there is plenty about this car on Google

i have 1200 + images of this car, mostly in various stages of recommissioning, but lots of interesting period photos.

Baz,
I vaguely seem to remember that Registration Mark. I think from when John Woolfe owned her and 'The Motor' or maybe 'Autocar' or another magazine had some sort of feature about just how fast this machine accelerated and stopped. There were photographs of course

Your thinking of GTM777F. the sister car

Ed Fruetel had both cars in Europe and would use the Street Cobra as a back up car

Both Cobras were sold to John Tojeiro for £500 each , John Wolfe bought them for £1000 each. it was John Wolfe that registered them with the GTM700F and GTM777F (the number 7 had a meaning but i can't remember what that was)

here it 777 with a 178 roundel (notice 178 in a different position and the intake divider) pre UK registration

777 is now RHD.
