G'Day Gents

Does anyone know where you can source the 'AC Autokraft Cobra' adhesive plates located on the door trim. Mine are badly scratched/worn and need replacing.

Well I sent an email to Neil who I have communicated with before.  I got a read receipt for my email on the 14th but so far not heard back from him. Shall keep you informed

CobraAddict

Oh well Neil never got back to me either so looks like we are dead in the water with this one.

No offence intended, but businesses usually respond better to telephone enquiries. They get lots of emails daily which have little prospect of returning any actual trade activity; especially if the sender has taken up time before without it leading anywhere.

Has anyone reached out to Brian to ask him? I believe he lives on the north end of New Zealand. Might be possible to contact him.
Another Autokraft question; does anyone know the whereabouts of the 289 he built in 1978? Registered as 6F07C347401

None taken however having been in Sales/Marketing for 30+ years I find that culture sadly lacking from a 'Customer Service perspective' and businesses can quickly gain a very negative reputation if they have such practices.  How you can tell from a first email what potential future 'major' business it may represent is a gift I never had.  On the contrary a basic intro email has often led to huge deals down the track.
I for one would have weeded such a culture out of my team from day one.

Unfortunately, as you have found, most car oriented businesses do not share your good salesmanship skills. Certainly this is pretty much what I have found too.

Would seem to be the case.  Can;t help but to be very surprised that these Sill Plates are not readily available. They must wear relatively fast being simple screen printed plates yet easy enough to make.  Oh well juts have to keep looking/
